Carlos Tellez is a native New Mexican from La Mesa who retired from the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department.  Since retirement, Carlos has continued serving his community through volunteerism and is a current member, and past chairman, of RPENM's Chapter 2 in Las Cruces.  Carlos continues to use and share his knowledge by working as a subcontractor with the Department of Justice.  (La Mesa is just south of Las Cruces.)
